Creating Beautiful Natural Teeth

Dr. Vikas Goud has worked tirelessly to bring the beautiful smile back on hundreds of patients. He has spent a major portion of career on cosmetic dentistry.  Dr. Vikas Goud says, “I love helping patients have the smile they like.” “It is something I live for!” which is commendable.

Meticulous Planning

Dr. Vikas Goud plans every procedure of his meticulously and takes time for the preparations to provide the best service to his patients.  He says, “I take every factor into account so that the smile will be what the patient desires and it will be lasting and healthy.”

The most important factor that is considered when preparing for a dental implant procedure is to check the bite alignment which holds the key to a positive outcome of the procedure.  If the bite alignment is incorrect then the patient can end up gradually wearing down the teeth and start having issues with pain in the TMJ or the Temporomandibular Joint. Another important aspect of planning includes radiographs with digital and panoramic x- rays, external and intraoral pictures of the patients’ teeth and a wax model for better assessment of the patient’s teeth and getting the desired outcome.

Beautiful, Natural And Lasting Results

Dr. Vikas Goud uses high quality materials and top labs to create any restorations he uses, such as crowns or veneers. This further ensures the aesthetics and longevity of the new smile. Patients feel assured that they are in good hands with Dr. Vikas Goud. “He is always up-to-date” says Shiva Kumar who is a long time patient of Dr. Vikas Goud. He adds, “Dr. Goud talks to patients and lets them know what is going on. Now I feel more confident after the work done on my teeth by Dr. Vikas Goud.”

No Prep Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin layers of porcelain that are attached to the front surface of the teeth to help improve their shape or color, or to cover chipped or pitted teeth. They can also be used to straighten mildly crooked teeth or close gaps between teeth. They are a fast and long lasting solution and with proper care they can last a lifetime and do not require replacement.

Dr. Vikas Goud has used No Prep Veneers to bring back the smiles on many patients. He uses the highest grade porcelain for his veneers because of its superior aesthetics strength. Majority of veneer placements are completed in just two visits.

No Preparation Veneers

Strong porcelains have enabled dentists to use ultrathin veneers that require little to no tooth preparation, eliminating the need for shaving down the tooth enamel. Dr. Vikas Goud prefers to provide No-Prep Veneers as they are healthier for patients’ teeth and there is no risk for loss of tooth structure.  The veneers can even be removed if the patient ever decides to do so.

State-of-The Art Technology

The success of modern dentistry among ot her factors also revolves around the images that are obtained.  Dr. Vikas Goud uses digital x-rays, panoramic x-rays and, if required, 3D x- rays with dental CT scanner. Panoramic x- rays provide a broad view of the teeth and the mouth and 3D x- rays give a three dimensional 360 degree view of the teeth and mouth. He uses 3D x-rays for implant placement procedures.

The use of laser beams has also been of added advantage in modern dentistry. The narrow, precise beam cuts soft or hard tissues without any adverse effect to the surrounding tissues. It also cauterizes as it cuts, eliminating bleeding and calming down any swelling.

Dr. Vikas Goud utilizes a water-based laser for his procedures, during crown preparation for the final shaping of the tooth and for implant placements. He also uses it in gum disease treatment to remove bacteria and cauterize the gum tissue. The laser emits a stream of water at the same time as the beam of light such that the area being treated is automatically cooled.
